Pioneer Engineering provides a range of services to ensure the successful hook-up, commissioning and start-up of our client\u2019s assets.<\/p>\n

Hook-up and commissioning (HUC) refers to all necessary activities preparing for the start-up of an asset for oil and gas production. This is the phase where design flaws and construction errors will surface, and where potentially expensive and time-consuming changes and modifications will have to be undertaken. Failure to do so may entail delays or, worse, catastrophic failure.<\/p>\n

Cost management and safety are therefore paramount. Pioneer Engineering works with its customers to ensure the asset is safely started-up on time, correctly, and within budget.<\/p>\n

Our strategy is to maximise onshore pre-commissioning activities and therefore minimise offshore manhours, enhance safety and gain cost advantages.<\/p>\n

Our Activities include:<\/p>\n

• Preparation of detailed work packages and project plan<\/li>\n
• Collection and collation of pre-existing documents and standards<\/li>\n
• Onshore pre-commissioning at yard<\/li>\n
• After-lift installation and tie in of components and structures, e.g. structures, skids, piping,\u00a0flowlines<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>compressors,\u00a0generators\u00a0M&E, E&I,\u00a0etc.<\/li>\n
• Functional test of\u00a0installed structures and components<\/li>\n
• Offshore commissioning<\/li>\n
• System handover (including final documentation) and start-up<\/li>\n
• Support of all associated maintenance works as and when required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
